About the Author
Andrea Mathis, BSc, Nutritionist SVDE, born and resident in Switzerland, holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from Berne University of Applied Sciences. For more than 20 years she has been active in the field of nutrition for children and adults in various clinics, hospitals, colleges and vocational schools. She is currently working as a nutritionist at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Switzerland in St. Gallen. Interest in food, cooking and baking was important to her already during her childhood. She spent many hours in her parents’ kitchen trying out countless recipes. She loves nature, and when she is not roaming the mountains, she can be found at cultural or musical events. Her family means everything to her. She has a great heart for children.
